1972THE EARLY YEARS
HUMBLE ORIGINS
Chizubel was born in St. Stephen’s Hospital, Chelsea, to Nigerian parents who relocated to the United Kingdom to escape the horrors of the Nigerian Civil war. His early childhood would see him begin to grow up in Battersea, London where his dad worked at British Rail.
RELOCATING TO NIGERIA
A TIME OF UNCERTAINTY
Chizubel's parents returned to Nigeria aiming to rebuild their home after the civil war had ended. Life was hard living in Lagos but his father was determined to give his family a better life, finally succeeding in establishing a cement factory with his partners.

1990FINDING HIS FEET
A TASTE FOR BUSINESS
During his primary, secondary school and university years, Chizubel pursued multiple entrepreneurial ventures. From making greeting cards, breeding and selling pigeons, to building and selling aquariums and transporting local farmers goods to market.
TAKING RISKS
THE FIRST TRIUMPH
Chizubel co-founded his first consulting company, Axis Limited, with his friend Jeff while studying Geography at ABSU. They provided procurement services to businesses, securing their first contract with the now defunct Triumph Merchant Bank, Port Harcourt.

1996TOUGH DECISIONS
RETURN TO THE UK
After deciding to quit university and leaving the company he co-founded in Nigeria, he returned to the United Kingdom determined to pursue his dreams of becoming an entrepreneur on the bigger world stage.
NEW SYSTEM, NEW MINDSET
LEARNING THE SYSTEM
Deciding to try University again to get integrated faster into life back in the UK, he got admission at the London Guildhall University, to study Business and Computing whilst working a job at Tesco and the eventually London Borough of Hackney’s Control Center.

2000A DIFFERENT PATH
NEW ENERGY
After two years studying at University, Chizubel quit to focus on developing practical business skills whilst working at NatWest Bank as a payments clearing Analyst and eventually as a Project Manager at London Electricity.
NEW BEGINNINGS
A PRELUDE TO RISK
After certifying in Project and Programme Management, Service Delivery and Service Management, Chizubel contracted at BT where he was introduced to Risk Management by a colleague. Later in 2005, Chizubel then qualified in Management of Risk.

2011HIS TRUE CALLING
A RISK REVELATION
Chizubel earned his International Certificate in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management. After disputing some of their approaches on practical grounds, he discovered his passion; Exploring risk practices beyond the norm to aid people in new ways.
GOING GLOBAL
INTERNATIONAL ENTERPRISE
While contracting at Deutsche Bank, Chizubel received his first international gig as an Independent Risk Consultant. The job? To train several Executives located in Malaysia in banking and finance on his Enterprise Risk Management training.

2018THE PIVOTAL YEAR
THE RISK REVOLUTION
With a bank of knowledge and a brand new, innovative approach, Chizubel launched his flagship business, The Risk of You. The ultimate goal? Transforming and empowering lives through the power of Risk. The new disruptor risk consultancy was now born.
PUBLISHING DEBUT
SHARING PURPOSE
Following much deliberation and a lot of hard work , Chizubel releases his first self-published book: For the Love of Purpose - Take These 7 Steps to Achieve Your Purpose. This would lay the foundation for further publication work to align purpose with risk.

DISRUPTING THE GAME
Chizubel creates a big impact launching his brand new original podcast, The Risk Champs Podcast, alongside his fresh major rebrand but that isn’t all… Chizubel launches his second book, Get Risky or Get Lost to industry acclaim.
